General Information

Applications

Applications are open from 03 November 2011 to 19 December 2011. To process your application, you must complete the online form in the application page, following the guidelines provided.

Applicants can be young scientists beginning their careers in the field of astrocytes or senior scientists wishing to refresh their glial background.

Registration is limited to 30 participants. Applicants will be selected on the basis of their scientific background and relevance of the course in their current research.

The registration fee is 350 EUR. This amount covers the tuition fee and full board and lodging at the school venue. Some fellowships may be available; additional information on this topic will be announced through this page.

Travel information

Scholars and Faculty have been assigned a place in one of the following buses/cars; see A and B, below, and check your e-mail for your assigned timetable. In each case, places are limited so please do not board a different one without contacting the organisers beforehand. Thank you for your cooperation.

A) Departures from Bologna airport:

 9:20 car
11:35 car
12:20 bus
16:00 bus
16:20 car
16:50 car
18:15 car

The buses will wait outside the arrivals area, to the left, near the main bus station and the taxis (see picture below); please don't make the drivers wait unnecessarily. Car drivers will collect their passengers in the arrivals area; keep an eye out for a sign with your name.

 

B) Departure from Forlì train station:

15:45 bus

Cultural activities

To complement the intensive scientific programme, a half day has been assigned to cultural activities. More details will be communicated directly to accepted students.
